Breastfeeding & Lactation Services

Breastfeeding is a natural way to nourish our babies from birth to beyond 1 year of age but sometimes it does not always feel natural. Learning how to breastfeed and provide breastmilk throughout your breastfeeding journey can be overwhelming especially in the early days. Seeking help from an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) can help overcome barriers throughout your breastfeeding journey. New or experienced mothers may need help as every baby and breastfeeding journey is different. Hiring an IBCLC can help you with anything related to breastfeeding, pumping, or bottle feeding to allow your baby to be nourished by you throughout their first couple years of life.

Mighty Milk Breastfeeding Classes

Preparing for breastfeeding can help you feel more confident and supported as you begin your breastfeeding journey. I’m proud to recommend Mighty Milk’s breastfeeding courses, which provide practical, evidence-based education you can complete from the comfort of home and at your own pace. You can choose the Expectant Parents Class, the Breastfeeding Your Baby Class for the newborn period, or the Breastfeeding Bundle, which includes both classes. I recommend the bundle for the most complete preparation and support; however, you can also start with the Expectant Parents Class during pregnancy and move on to the Breastfeeding Your Baby Class once your baby arrives.

One of the benefits of these courses is you can return to the lessons and rewatch videos anytime you need a refresher—even after your baby arrives.

Click on the information sheet to read about the classes and then use the discount code “MILK” to receive 10% off when purchasing through the links provided. The bundle saves $49 plus the 10% off and can be purchased through either link.

Payment & Insurance

Beautiful Beginnings Motherhood Co LLC is a self-pay (private pay) practice and does not bill insurance. Payment is due at the time of service.

Operating as a self-pay practice allows me to provide individualized, evidence-based lactation care without the limitations often imposed by insurance companies. Many families find self-pay lactation care is comparable to—or less than—their out-of-pocket insurance costs once deductibles and co-pays are considered.

While I do not submit insurance claims, a superbill can be provided upon request for families who wish to seek reimbursement.
